MPV Services was engaged to provide Protective Coating services to several Doppler Radar Towers to be installed state wide in Queensland.

After construction, the large Tower sections weighing up to 20 tonne were transported to our facility in Gladstone where they were craned into position on rollers ready for surface protection.  MPV carried out abrasive blasting and then proceeded to install a 3-coat paint system on the external surface and a 2 coat paint system on the internal surface.

Each tower consisted of around 1300m2 of surface area to be treated
